Michelle Hazell also known as "ellenaturel" from an early age has been fascinated with photography. Although she does not remember taking her first photo, she had always known that it was her calling. Yet, like many of us confronted with the misgivings of life and the expectations to conform to certain traditional ideals, Michelle dabbled with different aspirations until she did a photo shoot for the first time for a clothing line. This experience awakened her passion for photography. It was literally a wake up call. She decided to be true to herself and pursue what she believed was her destiny. The freedom to capture that moment in time, opened her optical eye to a cognizance; stories are just half of the truth, it is written in pictures. Breathing new air from an old life, doubt was cast aside and the pursuit of destiny was quested.
Michelle calls herself an “Artographer”, a term pioneered by her to relay the unlikeness she has among other artists; though ‘art’ and ‘photography’ only convey the occupational side of her creations. The extension factor that sets the standard in her city is her avant-garde minds-eye for brilliance in photographic texture. She honors traditional methods, and keeps the basics tastefully intact; but abstract energy, heavy tonality, edginess balanced with solemnity lead her creative hand to achieve a sense of purity for her audience. She has made this technique her life, allowing her to free your perception into seeing a piece of her own prism, a true new world of potential to valiant change.
Ellenaturel has worked with many artists, companies & great leaders in the industry such as Nike, Samsung, OVO, Jessie Reyez, Post Malone, Director X & More. One thing that can be praise worthy about Michelle is her character. Although her work is unquestionably unique she has the maturity and sense of artistry to recognize she still has lots to learn and her best work has yet to be done.
