With respect to the Sun, we read the work from east to west with the first piece coming in the form of a moody and brilliant panorama of the city looking east. Photographer & Artist Michelle Hazell captures the city’s canopy in a decidedly moody moment. Comprised of several different photographs pulled and edited together, Michelle augments reality through her design skills to create this brilliant piece.

Toronto’s “headshot”, captured from South of the city, this piece pays respect to our city’s beautiful skyline. Capturing a construction crane at work within the photograph, Michelle gives a nod to the constant state of growth that the city is evolving through. We almost get a sense that the colors from the previous panels sky is bleeding into the centerpiece… In truth, the colors painted across the sky are in recognition and tribute to the PanAM games which happened in Toronto.

The Mural itself is 100 inches tall & 425 inches wide wrapping around the entire wall. This mural will be up for the foreseeable future.

This mural was commissioned & created for the CN Tower via The Remix Project.
